We welcome those from living on unceded lands, those wanting to walk in respect to the whenua and ask that all tools and resources and wānanga be contextualised to your traditional lands, Traditional Owners and Lores.

Kao/No - but we do prioritise our reo/langauage and love when others prioritise theirs and we realise we can still weave together in harmony.

First off it means you are an accomplice to Indigenous resistance.
You come with an openness that this kaupapa will come with discomfort and vulnerability.
It means you carry whakapapa - within your womb, and/or your practise, your kupu, stories and/or connection to Land.
It means you are actively engaged with the tūāpapa of the Hine Ngākau, are being supported to lead or share in your own pūkenga and will uphold the tikanga of the kaupapa.
It means you seek to localise the use of our resources to build the Hine Ngākau within your local community.

We are a learning space so its necessary for us to get things wrong, to find resolution through understanding and seek out commonalities. We appreciate academia but do not prioritise it here. Simplifying language when necessary except when reo Māori is used.
Our commonalities are revitalising our sovereignty as Māori, to decolonise our understanding and application of tikanga Māori and to be accomplices of Indigenous peoples.
Everything we create, share, and say is up for wānanga/discussion when you are contributing part of the kaupapa.
